At home Green Juice - Recipe

Green juices have come to stay. Ever since the wellness scene peaked and people started to invest more time and energy on their own health, cold pressed juices became mainstream. It started with finding them at fitness studios, to vegan restaurants, to purchasing your own juicer and prepping them at home. After trying many [many] green juice recipes, there's one in particular that has stood the test of time. It is the ultimate green juice and has less ingredients, yet more health benefits, than you would think.

Ingredients (all organic):

  • 2 celery sticks

  • 1 green apple

  • 1 lemon

  • 1 cucumber

This green juice has powerful antioxidant properties, helping your body recover from illness and prevent disease. It helps lower blood pressure and due to its impact, on a cellular level, it can make you feel calm and centered. Because of it's antioxidant properties, it minimizes oxidative stress, which happens when there's an imbalance between free radical activity and antioxidants. This just means that it can help fight the effect of free radicals in the body. It includes highly alkaline foods - helping cleanse the liver, increasing the ability to get rid of toxins in the body.

This juice's anti-inflammatory effect makes it beneficial for any pain disorder, thyroid issues, weight problems, and/or mood disorder (all of which are conditions known to be improved by an anti-inflammatory diet).
